Quran 4.163. We have revealed to you (O Messenger), as We revealed to Noah and the Prophets after him; and We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Prophets who were raised in the tribes, and Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon; and We gave David the Psalms

(This simple statement affirms to Muslims their belief in ONE God as exemplified on Earth by GOD's final Messenger. By looking at the exemplary life of the Final Messenger, Muslims better understand their role to be be a positive role model and act as custodian to ALL on this Earth.
Muslims know that they have to strive to ONLY do good in whatever they do. Muslims understand that they are accountable on the Day of Judgement for all that they do that is good or bad. Muslims also understand that GOD only commands GOOD.
